Paul A. Tarantino, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Ophthalmologist Glen Burnie |  Dr. Paul A. Tarantino, MD Dr Paul A. Tarantino, The President of Tarantino Eye Center since the practice was established in 1997, Dr. Tarantino is a board-certified ophthalmologist and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
After graduating magna cum laude from Loyola College, Dr. Tarantino earned his medical degree cum laude from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1987. At the University of Maryland, he received an Outstanding Senior Award, was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, and was class president. His post-graduate training included an internship at Mercy Hospital in Baltimore followed by an ophthalmology residency at Louisiana State University Eye Center in New Orleans, where he was appointed Chief Resident in his final year. He is currently the chief of ophthalmology at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

Sandra Y. Cho, M.D.

Ophthalmologist Glen Burnie  Dr. Sandra Y. Cho, MDDr Sandra Y. Cho, A board certified ophthalmologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Cho has been with the Tarantino Eye Center since October 2006. She specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology as well as cornea and refractive surgery.
Dr. Cho earned her medical degree in 2001 from New York University School of Medicine after graduating summa cum laude from Princeton University. Her post-graduate training began with an internship at North Shore University Hospital in New York, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. She then went on to complete a cornea fellowship at Tufts-New England Medical Center/Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston, as well as a mini-fellowship in refractive surgery at Codet Vision Institute in Tijuana, Mexico.
Dr. Cho’s research on cornea and refractive surgery and other ophthalmology topics has been presented at national society meetings and published in peer-reviewed journals and other publications.

Tracy D. Burroughs, OD.

A TPA certified optometrist who is a recent addition to the Tarantino Eye Center, Dr. Burroughs has been practicing optometry locally for over fifteen years.

Dr. Burroughs’ formal education consists of a B.S. degree in Medical Technology from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. After a brief career working in the medical technology field, she returned to graduate school completing an O.D. degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN.

Her areas of emphasis are primary eye care, treatment and management of ocular disease, and contact lenses.

In her spare time, Dr. Burroughs enjoys hiking, biking, reading, and spending time with her husband and son.
